A star-based hygiene rating for tattoo shops, called the Blue Shield—inspired by the trust and prestige of the Michelin Guide.

Labels are given to tattoo shops that meet the Blue Shield hygiene standards and receive strong customer reviews, encouraging more parlors to stay clean and certified.

Searching ‘Blue Shield’ on Google Maps brings up nearby tattoo shops with certified hygiene standards.
